Small works on paper, canvas, or birch panel. In this series of work, I use mixed-media collage to explore the emotional and metaphysical connections between past and present, reality and memory. I call it,” Navigating Uncertainty.”
My mixed media collage is created with many different layers of professional grade acrylic paints and mediums. I also incorporate my own hand -crafted collage papers, text, and images, to achieve the desired effect. Each painting becomes a journey of marks, texture, colour, and composition which in the end, comes to its own conclusion.
I finish all my art pieces with at least 2-3 layers of acrylic medium for extra protection and easier care.
