Small works on paper, canvas, or birch panel. In this series of work, I use mixed-media collage to explore the emotional and metaphysical connections between past and present, reality and memory. I call it,” Navigating Uncertainty.”
I explore the intuitive process with mixed media collage. Each painting becomes a journey of marks, texture, colour, and composition which in the end, comes to its own conclusion.
My mixed media collage is created with many different layers of professional grade acrylic paints and mediums. I also incorporate my own hand -crafted collage papers, text, and images, to achieve the desired effect. I finish all my art pieces with at least 2-3 layers of acrylic medium for extra protection and easier care.
