Small Abstract Art – The Miracle – 8′ x 8″

Small works on paper, canvas, or birch panel. In this series of work, I use mixed-media collage to explore the emotional and metaphysical connections between past and present, reality and memory. I call it,” Navigating Uncertainty.”

“The Miracle has an added layer of “crackle medium” which creates an interesting texture and sparkle to the surface. The sides have been finished with black gesso.

My mixed media collage is created with many different layers of professional grade acrylic paints and mediums. I also incorporate my own hand -crafted collage papers, text, and images, to achieve the desired effect.I finish all my art pieces with at least 2-3 layers of acrylic medium for extra protection and easier care.
